The most natural vehicle for a bipedal ape is the bike!
This ain't strictly scientific but also practical. The humans species
stand on two feet and the bike has same number of pedals... Isn't a match made in heaven, or evolution to be correct? The point is that we must argue that the bicycle must be the next step in evolution, and the cars must be junked because they add unnecessary baggage to the naked ape. And so the next well-dressed ape must ride a stylish bike to show off his cleverness and humble origins. That's what I plan to do... (I quote) "So what could be more natural than Holmes' latest book, The Well- Dressed Ape, seeking a better understanding of her place and that of the human species in the world of nature? Sure, it brings to mind Desmond Morris' groundbreaking The Naked Ape, which in 1967 analyzed humans compared with other animals. But in this Homo sapiens saga, Holmes devotes much of her attention to examining herself and how she, as representative of her species, fits into the natural scheme. The book begins with the author standing buck naked before a mirror, inspecting all of her attributes feature by feature — unabashedly, though not always with clinical dispassion." http://www.usatoday.com/life/books/r...e-review_N.htm -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Monkeys of the World, Unite! You've got nothing to lose but your cages" (a cage is a car in the jargon of those on two wheels... ride a bike!) http://webspawner.com/users/bananarevolution |

Round - where are you? -- The Bicycle Helmet Research Foundation (BHRF) is an independent body with the message: Helmets are not beneficial to cyclists - unless the evidence forces them to a dramatically different conclusion. |
