Mountain biker rescued near Gold Camp Road Posted: May 29, 2018 1:57 PM PDT em class="wnDate"Tuesday, May 29, 2018 4:57 PM EDT/emUpdated: May 29, 2018 2:01 PM Written By Tom Kackley COLORADO SPRINGS Colorado Springs firefighters and El Paso County Search and Rescue crews rescued a mountain biker who fell on the section 16 trail off of gold camp road. CSFD said the man fell about 20 feet and suffered serious, but non-life threatening injuries. He was brought out at the Section 16 trailhead in the Red Rock Open Space area. They said he was transported to a local hospital. No other information about the person involved has been released.
