WTB: vintage 3ttt or Cinelli cowhorn time trial bars
I'm looking for a set of cowhorn TT bars to complete a vintage build
I'm doing. I would prefer the 3ttt bar (I don't know the model name) that is straight across at the tops and then does a simple curve upward where the brake levers mount. Cinelli LA84 is also another bar I would consider. I've seen some bars that are very square and have funny bends (eg. Cinelli Tempo, 3ttt moscow) - I'm trying to avoid these types of bars. Lemme know whacha got. Thanks. |

WTB: vintage 3ttt or Cinelli cowhorn time trial bars
Yeah, I thought about doing that too. I wonder which bend would give
the best "shape"??? Cinelli 66, 65, or 64 bend? Back in the day we made these ourselves: start with a standard bar, chop off the drops and mount in the stem upside-down so the ends curve up instead of down. You can't get more "authentic vintage" than that. |
