I just found a cool place to buy and sell outdoor gear called
http://www.geartrade.com . Geartrade is an online outdoor gear swap. There's a bunch of used gear, but most of the gear on the site is new and super cheap. It kind of works like ebay, but it's cheaper and faster to list items. There are free listings, and they even handle all customer service and payment collection. Anyways, I think it's better than local swaps that charge up to 20% to sell your old bike -- rec.bicycles.off-road is moderated by volunteers.
