A Boulder man was injured Monday night in a mountain bike crash on a trail west of Lyons.

The 48-year-old man, who was not identified, went out for a trail ride on Hall Ranch and was expected home about 8:30 p.m. but did not return, according to a Boulder County Sheriff's Office media release.

The sheriff's office was called about the overdue biker about 11:30 p.m. and emergency personnel responded.

He was found at about 1 a.m. on a trail and had suffered a neck injury in a crash, the sheriff's office said.

The victim was taken to Longmont United Hospital for treatment.

Further details on his injuries were not available.

You "really" were arrested for assault. You "really" were found guilty of exhibiting a deadly weapon and battery.
