Default Free ferry for cyclists

Came back from a 7 bridge ride (see approx route in 7bridgeswalk.com.au)
this morning and a couple of people were handing out leaflets at the HB
steps on how the Harbour Bridge Cycleway will operate tomorrow for the 75th
celeb. The cycleway will be closed in early morning, open from 6am to noon,
then closed after Noon until 330 am Monday. Get this, a free water taxi
service (with bike racks, no less) will be provided from Jeffrey St Wharf at
Milsons Point to Wharf 9 at Walsh Bay at Towns Place. This will operate
continuously during the afternoon, didnt specify any frequency. The water
taxi is creative idea but they could have let cyclists, roller bladers etc
use say one lane of the bridge all day. Might go down at noon just for the
photo op.

fb in sinnee.
