Kangaroo Court Aussies
http://www.cyclingnews.com/news.php?...v04/nov17news2
On the specifics of the Hamilton case, Ashenden added, "In Athens Hamilton returned an A sample that indicated blood transfusion. The fact that the B sample was destroyed does not affect the validity of the A sample finding. Therefore SIAB believes that there is evidence of the use of a prohibited method that is against the WADA code." ------- Boy this Aussie guy Ashenden is a major ****ing idiot. First of all, you could say that about ANY ****ing test. So why would the blood transfusion test be any different? Just because it's HIS test, the B sample isn't necessary? What a moron. Second Ashenden doesn't appear to know the WADA Protocol very well. WADA protocol CLEARLY states that the test is considered negative if the rider wants the B sample analyzed and for whatever reason that cannot happen. So, accordiing to WADA/IOC code Hamilton's Olympic test is negative. Even Dick Pound (an attorney himself) and IOC President Rogue concede to this. But Ashenden and these Aussie idiots think they're going to re-write the rules and make it so JUST THE AUSSIE test gets a special exemption. Too bad the rules can't be re-written retroactively, you ****ing kangaroos court lawyers. Once this case concludes, it will be clear the Aussies got it all wrong. When is Jeff Jones going to publish an article the real story: how much money are these Aussie attorneys swindling from the Aussie federation that could have gone towards cycling programs instead of idiot attorneys who apparently can't read the WADA rules correctly. Take care, Magilla Gorilla for Sale |
