Zebee! Up here we dont see many bents. I was just out on my ride and was
coming up to a major intersection and this funny looking guy close to the
ground zoomed past. I dont htink he even saw me so fast was he travelling. I
quickly turned the corner and was in hot pursuit as it looked "interesting"
but alas I couldnt catch him! LOL

Yay!

Lots of the bents around are low racers, Bacchetta's about the only
high bike manufacturer and I dunno there are many around.

Probably because their light ones are more expensive than light low
racers....

Zebee
- lusting rather for a Bacchetta Aero 24 carbon, but it's a hell of a
lot of money and I'd have to put all the commuting kit on it so why
bother?

I think LWB bents look funny

I'm extremely happy with the Giro 20. Heavier than your average good
flat bar roadie of course, but I can cope. It's easy to ride, can get
a fair bit of steam up (depending on the motor), stable, comfortable,
the 20" front means it isn't that far to unclip and get the feet on
the ground, the seat angle means most of the bumps are soaked up by
my back into the sinfully comfortable seat.

The Aero's a lot lighter and a lot faster but hey... I'm in this for
the fitness, so a heavy bike's a plus eh!

Zebee
- who went out on two "I think I need a ride" 30 minute outings
today. I have never ever ridden a bike with as much enjoyment as I
have this one, and never just got on the bike because I wanted to feel
good till I bought the 'bent.

Ahh, but the cafe isn't technically an LWB

Besides, I likes LWBs....they remind me of the old Dragster I had as a
kid

I've pretty much given up on my roadie. tried riding it to work for
the first time in ages last week, and turned back after 10 minutes.
Can't go back to the "old way" any more....

Not this year, corflute instead. When it's destroyed, a lot less of
greenspeed's money will have been spent

The thing is sub 20kg, which is nice, yes. The one we raced a couple
of years ago was 32kg ...
