That's awesome. I love the story of Durwood Merril and how they have done
things around Hooks.
The rest of the country likes to **** on Texas, but there are a lot of good
things that happen down there.

He founded and ran a charity to help kids and families get through the holidays
with whatever they needed. He was totally hand s on. Collecting supplies and
delivering them. One year, and maybe more they rehabbed a bunch of donated
bikes and got them out to kids.
Here's a little bit on it, but his book "You're out and you're Ugly too!"
tells how it came about.
