McGrory Scratches, Downings Crash in Ghent

The first night in Ghent was Fast and Furious. The chases were short and Marco
Villa - Franz Stocher, who do not usually ride as a Pair, soon got into sync
and although they did not win either of the two Hunts, they were the only duo
that ended on lap zero in both Hunts. Somewhat surprisingly then, although
short on points, Villa-Stocher surged into the lead.

Australian Scott McGrory scratched at the last minute with influenza. He was
replaced by the organizer, Parick Sercu, with Germany's Lars Teutenberg

The Downing Brothers Crashed during the second Hunt but are continuing
although they are now five laps down.
