Default Watson on Freire

This month's Cycle Sport has an article by Graham Watson decrying the
third Freire World Championship as being undeserving because he
doesn't ride from April to October like Zabel.

Yes, Zabel is an awesome rider and deserves accolades, but he came up
short in Verona.

Is this really just a veiled criticism of Armstrong and all other
riders who choose to focus on one or a few events as well? Perhaps it
is but Mr. Watson has made so much money off Armstrong images that he
feels the need to protect that lucrative relationship by not
mentioning Lance's racing schedule in his criticism of today's
training and racing environment. Which unfairly makes Freire the
focus of his criticism.
