TT sans aero equipment. Let's give 'em a chance before you hang them all out to dry. Time trialing is a speciality unto itself and no one was prepared to give VOS a real shot. That's coming after the team training camp leading up to Merced when the guys and gals actually get their bikes and kit. " Even Cat V's use areo-bars. -Ken |

Not necessarily. I was at several races last season where half the Pro
1-2 field did not have even aero bars for the TT. This recurs quite often. Tom |

You've got me there. Qualifier: if you are going to do a flat (road) tt and don't intend to do well, you can save the mechanic the trouble of putting on the aero bars. Of course at that point, your only goal is to beat the time cut. |
