Excellent crash video - almost like being there. The slow motion
showed something else happened. The guy didn't just twitch and go
down. I suspect he had a mechanical at a most misoportune time.

A good reason not to have downhill finishes.

Looked to me like the guy in the green jersey was surprised that the
guy came around on his right, overreacted, and lost it, then took out
everyone. I'd say inexperience probably.
Great video though.

The guy had no chance for the win. He wasn't moving up, he was getting
passed. If he had stayed up he would have been about 15th.

P.S. If you're at the back of a 50 rider bunch 40 meters from the finish,
you're not going for the win.

This doesn't seem right to me. His initial lateral displacement is extremely
sudden. But when I checked, I didn't see any obvious cause for this.

He finished the road race in the lead group:

But I assume he didn't start the time trial:
http://www.joemartinstagerace.com/Re...m_4&event=s_tt

that makes 3 candidates:
Joshua Wolf
Michael Biondi
Spencer Stanton

At least one of these guys must have posted something, somewhere, on this thing...

Well, Wolf rides for KCOI Boulevard, and Biondi rides with
Tyson Racing, neither of which have green jerseys. Stanton
is with "The Ride" ( http://www.therideonline.net/ ), for
which I can't find a jersey photo, so maybe he's the one who
crashed. At least he wasn't badly hurt.
