Victory in the GWOD
That's Global War on Dope, if you were wondering.
It's clear that this Tour is much cleaner than every other Tour since the last Tour that was cleaner than all the other Tours. As proof, since Ryan is slow to post for some reason, simply regard the Millar Line from the Stage 4 time trial: 1 Stefan Schumacher (Ger) Gerolsteiner 35.44 (49.534 km/h) 2 Kim Kirchen (Lux) Team Columbia 0.18 3 David Millar (GBr) Team Garmin-Chipotle p/b H30 " There you go - 176 riders are proven clean by being David Millar or behind him, Kirchen is on the same time as Millar so he doesn't count, and Schumacher is known to be positive, but only for amphetamines (MDMA, we expect) after post-nightclub drunk driving. The race is as pure as a glass of mineral water - Gerolsteiner, presumably. Sincerely, Brian Lafferty |

I'm no Bob Martin, and let's face it, I was probably drunk. 1 Stefan Schumacher (Ger) Gerolsteiner 35.44 (49.534 km/h) 2 Kim Kirchen (Lux) Team Columbia 0.18 3 David Millar (GBr) Team Garmin-Chipotle p/b H30 " There you go - 176 riders are proven clean by being David Millar or behind him, Kirchen is on the same time as Millar so he doesn't count, and Schumacher is known to be positive, but only for amphetamines (MDMA, we expect) after post-nightclub drunk driving. Though as I have discussed previously, this Tour has seen a convergence of their viewpoints. Because you don't win the Tour on bread and water, Schumacher has to be the runaway favorite at this point. Dumbass, Just for the historical record, the Tom Kunich position is that the riders aren't doping, and dope does no good anyway. The Brian Lafferty position is that the riders were all doping, but the anti-dopers have the cheaters on the run and "This year we will see some real suffering in the mountains." Because you don't win the Tour on bread and water, Schumacher has to be the runaway favorite at this point. Alcohol is not a drug, With benefit of hindsight, perhaps Schumi should have used beta blockers instead of amphetamines - makes the bike handling less twitchy. Ben |
