Also obvious are the words "the right of the PEOPLE".
Too bad the hugely left-leaning ACLU largely ignores 2nd Amend. issues.

pretty well, leaving the constitution and 26 other amendments to the
ACLU.

I think that if the NRA is so concerned about our liberty they should
send some money over to the ACLU.

Actually, the ACLU is about one part of the first amendment and not much
else.
Besides, if you could enforce the 2nd, the rest wouldn't be much trouble

Go to www.aclu.org and look at the issues with which the ACLU is
involved. They go far beyond the first amendment.

Over a period of time, they've handled other things, but their primary
thrust is as I've said.
They're certainly not about 2nd Amend. issues, civil libertarians that they
are.
