Default DIY CHAIN GUARD $2 PLUS

Chain guards prolong chain life and riding enjoyment!
These here instruction translated from the N. Korean by blue staters
take two auto hose clamps to fit downtube and poly bottle, ex. gallon
water jug. cut 'Z' shape from the poly with the middle rectangle at 90
degrees to the 'Z' ends.size the outside rectangles at 2" wide by 5"
long and the middle rectangle at 2"x the distance between chainrings
outside and the opposite downtube side.or cut a 'Z' then fiddle with it
in place. turn the first cutting 90 degrees in your hand and place the
bottom rectangle before the chainrings' front opposite the front tire's
rear. the bottom rectangle covers the chainrings front bottom half or
more, the middle rectangle's length crosses over and reaching upwards
covers the downtube, the upper rectangle's length is two inches or to
fit. mount the 'Z' under the upper hose clamp and over the bottom hose
clamp now an adjuster slid up and under the upper rectangle fit under
the upper hose clamp. the jug's curves form a shape for the third or
fourth cutting attempt.also, a supermarket rubbing alcohol bottle top
with tab mounted on seat tube protects the front deray mechanism. a 1/4
bottle side with the vertical side chainside and larger area opposite
the rear tire's top front mounted at seatstays deflects chain bound and
front deray bound sand and grit.

The poly bottle shape is one leg over the CR's width
One leg over to the down tube
One leg up the down tube to fit under one clamp

The top shoulder of the gallon poly bottle gives a rear seat stay
mounted grit deflector.
Cut across the bottle horizontally two inches below the top
shoulder's curve as the bottle head upward to the bottle's opening
(where the fluid goes in)
And a parallel cut four inches above the cut just made.
Cut an opening for your rear tire using a template marked off from the
tire's actual max width side to side ( allowing for the 6mm of wobble
yawl left in there) this here cut going into the center of the piece.

I azzzum there's a metal piece from stay tp stay just above the tire
with a hole in it-mount there using a correctly sized fender washer.
If not a metal connector tube then cut two small rectangles of whatever
light material you have laying under the bench. Clamp pieces together
and drill small holes inboard the stays plus the guard's hole in the
pieces center and use this piece as a stay mount for the poly guard.

The bottle shoulder poly guard's "legs" point either forward or
rearward depending on the prevailing wind direction in your locale.

This is not as effective as a completely boxed in chain container-such
a container giving eternal chain life if you want to get off that wheel
but it takes only a relaxing creative hour and is highly effective for
extending chain life.

One can then ride for more than 5 miles and still have a freshly
cleaned and lubed chain feel.

Itsa pegaso!! Slideum!

The protectors chain draw out the appreciation chain of the life and the
riding! This the translated instruction of the N. Korean for staters blue
makes auto examination of two hose iron braces here to downtube apt and the
bottle poly, the cut form ' of Z ' of the water of the gallon former jar of
poly with the average rectangle in 90 degrees ' to the Z ' ends.size the
exterior rectangles in 2"largamente for long 5"and the average rectangle in
2"x in the distance between chainrings exterior and downtube opposing
side.or cut ' to a Z ' then fiddle with it in the return of the place the
first cut 90 degrees in its hand and place the rectangle inferior before the
part advantage of chainrings ' the opposite the part back of the front tire
inferior covers of the rectangle the front inferior half or more of
chainrings, the crosses of the exceeding length of the average rectangle and
that they reach the ascending covers downtube, the length of the superior
rectangle are two counts or to fit the assembly now ' the Z ' under the
superior iron brace and the excess of hose the inferior hose iron brace a
slid adjuster above and under the superior rectangle fit under the form of
the curves superior the hose iron brace of the jar a form for third or the
room cut attempt.also, a high one of the bottle of the alcohol of rubbing of
supermarket with the border mounted in the pipe of the seat protects the
front mechanism deray. a side of the bottle of 1/4 with chainside lateral
vertical line and the opposing area biggest to the superior front part of
the back tire mounted in seatstays deflexiona the bound sand deray limited
and front of the chain and the grain. The form poly of the bottle finishes
a foot on the foot of width one of low CR's for to the foot it pipe one
above for low it pipe to fit under an iron brace that the superior shoulder
of the bottle poly of the gallon gives to a mounted baffle of the grain of
the seat back sojourn. Cut through the bottle horizontally two counts below
of the curve of the superior shoulder as the head of the bottle for top to
the opening of the bottle (where the liquid goes inside) and one parallel
cut four counts above of the cut fêz only. Cut an opening for its back tire
using a marked mold outside of real the maximum side of the width of the
tire for tone the party here (allowing 6mm of yawl of the rocking to the
left inside there) this cut that enters in the center of the part. Azzzum I
is a part of the metal of the sojourn of tp of the sojourn only above of the
tire with a puncture there in-mounts there using a made washer correctly to
size of cleaving. If.not a pipe of the connector of the metal cut then two
small rectangles of what material clearly you have to place under the bank.
It presses the parts together and it perforatees small punctures inboard
that the sojourns more the puncture of the protector in the parts if center
and use this part while an assembly of the sojourn for the protector poly.
The "feet" of the protector poly of the shoulder of the bottle point onward
or stop backwards depending on the direction of the wind prevailing in its
locale. This is not so efficient how much boxed completely in the chain
container-such a container that gives to the eternal life chain if you to
want to start outside of this wheel but makes examination only of one
creativa hour relaxing and is highly efficient for the life chain extending.
One can then mount for more than 5 miles and still to have a sensation chain
recently cleaned and lubricated. Pegaso de Itsa! Slideum!

itsa 's' shaped thingus on the CR
anduh
if yawl take a gallon poly jug and lookit the wheel and lookit the jug
and cut the jug
sooner or later...
prevailing theory iszit yawl don't fill the jug before cutting it.
this may may not be truedependingonthegravitational affect.

the poly protectors due work tho'
i "invented" the two out of a desperate need to go more than two miles
without dnas proliferation.
in fact-the poly protectors wud reduce foreign oil dependence
