Crescent is either Swedish or American (of the US brand of american).

The Swedish ones were only rarely stainless. They made a nice-ish 531
model, along with a lot of really ugly dept. store quality bikes with
ashtabua-type cranks.

Swedish bike, more or less in the same class as Frejus (Italian) or
Atala (Italian) or Dawes (British). Second rate production bike in
its home country (2nd rate in netherlands after Gazelle) but the
orange ones were kinda cute.

Not worth restoring if its anything other than 531 / campagnolo.
