I just wanted to ask if anyone saw some early election results

whole state is like that. Scatch one state from my
(I want to live there) list.

well, it's true. i know everyone who voted for kerry in ada county, idaho
personally. blaine (where kerry owns a home, ketchum/sun valley) was the
only county to go kerry.

my joke was that idaho went for bush by only 240,000 votes. of course only
80,000 people voted for kerry.

Hey, I voted for Kerry even though I knew it was an exercise in
frustration. Bannock County does have a reasonably large population of
Democrats [the Bannock 6 (Democratic state legislators) was reduced to
the Bannock 5, however].

i congratulate your dedication in the face of overwhelming odds.

well, hey, latah county almost went to kerry at 50/48 8,686/8,430, shoshone
55/44, 2,921/2,331 and teton 58/42, 2,235/1,614 were also kinda close. all
the rest were 60 or much more likely 70, 80 or 90. bannock, btw, was 62/37
21,479/12,903.

all the hippies in the north end of boise banded together to keep ada
county down to 61%.

me thinks the real news, however, was the senate race where Crapo snuck
by for a slight 99% to 1% win. to be fair the democrat wasn't even on
the ballet and managed 2,579 votes via a belated write-in campagin.

oooof.
