Does anyone have any 2009 experiences or tips?
I've heard of people being able to get a ride across the bridge via the maintenace folks, even thought there's no official policy, and I've heard of the Windsor buses allowing bikes, even though their website says bike must be 'bagged.' Unfortunately, nothing I've seen online pertains to this year's regulations and/or whims. |

I'm not really familiar with the area (drove across at Port Huron back in 2005), but maybe the truck ferry? http://www.truckferry.com/ |

The only chance there is to thumb a ride with a trucker, and considering the hassle they get at the border as it is, it's a slim chance. |

I noticed Washtenaw Bicycle and Walking Coalition the other day, http://www.wbwc.org/. From them you may find other bicycle coalitions. Anyhow, that's what they do is lobby for bicycle access. Tom |
