Resistance training
I had known my rear brakes were getting a bit dodgy and needing serious
attention. They were slow to release and not terribly effective. So last night I swapped them and the front brakes out for V-brakes. New levers, cables, and calipers. Deore levers, Deore rear and LX front. I now realise why I always felt so crap on the MTB. The rear brake was nto releasing fully and has been rubbing. On the plus point, I have been gettign an extra workout. And the V-brakes are like dropping anchor.. Just wondering how long my rims will last ;-( ...d |

Just wondering how long my rims will last ;-( ..d Once, towards the end of a 120k ride, I was bonked and put it down to the force 6 headwind. After I'd struggled to the meeting point I found out that one of the rear spokes had broken and the wheel was rubbing against the frame. Graham |
