![]() I need help figuring out what tool I can used to tighten a ring that fell off the inside of my KH crank. I know how to screw it back in, but it's not tight enough to stay put. ![]() I used two spokes, put them in the holes and angled them together, I then gripped them with some pliers and turned them with that. It worked realy well, got them realy tight. Probably not the best way to do it but if you dont have anything else it will work. Also make sure you locktight it before you do it. One problem you may have with using specific tools is because of the profile of the back face of the crank, it doesnt alow you to insert the tool properly. Thats why I used spokes. -- sp4rky-m4rky _Marcus_Collings_'*U**n**i**c**y**c**l**e**.**c**o **m*' (http://www.unicycle.com/Gateway.asp) *)---' ![]() my 'pure trials vid' (http://www.vimeo.com/929928) my 'Year in vid' (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=NR_FRoOqHBI#GU5U2spHI_4) learning 180 or 360 unispins? watch my 'unispin tutorial' (http://youtube.com/watch?v=gFCHDO1umlM) Want to glide? watch my 'ww tutorial' (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=prrX0sY7QVo) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ sp4rky-m4rky's Profile: http://www.unicyclist.com/profile/14270 View this thread: http://www.unicyclist.com/thread/74822 Posted Via Usenet.com Premium Usenet Newsgroup Services ---------------------------------------------------------- http://www.usenet.com |

![]() a pair of circlip pliers or very thin needle nose pliers will do it. The pin tool shown above is better if you have to go and buy something, but you might have pliers lying around at home. -- kington99 Dave - what a thoroughly post-modern subversion of the cycling genre - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ kington99's Profile: http://www.unicyclist.com/profile/9417 View this thread: http://www.unicyclist.com/thread/74822 Posted Via Usenet.com Premium Usenet Newsgroup Services ---------------------------------------------------------- http://www.usenet.com |
