Very important cyclists on cargo bikes are more important thananti-terror measures.

Say a median bike is 500mm wide, they've left a gap 2.4 vehicles wide. That would be like putting in a pinch-point on the M25 that forces all the vehicles on both carriageways through a gap under 4.8m wide. It seems entirely foreseeable that there will be accidents. Pedestrians have their own chicane access on the pavement. |
